Develop your specialist skills in mental health assessment and treatment in this exciting graduate role with Alfred Health's Mental and Addictions Health team. This two-year graduate position is aimed at providing a diversity of work experiences and is structured to enable you to engage in a broad range of mental health professional experiences across the continuum of care. Rotations will include Adult inpatient unit, aged mental health, community psychiatry and emergency psychiatry teams.


  • Approved degree in Social Work and evidence of eligibility for membership of Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Knowledge of current social work practices relevant to mental health contexts and an ability to articulate theoretical basis for practice
  • Ability to exercise professional judgement and/or seek advice and consultation where appropriate
  • Ability to develop and foster collaborative working arrangements with relevant services and organisation
