The Patient Service Centre Clerk is responsible for the registration, placing on the waiting list, admission and discharge processes of patients that attend Alfred Health.
You will manage the Alfred Health elective surgery access program. We are looking for a responsible, enthusiastic person to join our team. As a waiting list clerk you will work closely with the Perioperative Coordinator processing surgical referrals, booking admissions and taking enquiries from patients on our waiting list.
You will be reliable, professional and have an eye for detail. You will also have:
Demonstrated commitment to high level customer service skills
Strong computer skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Understanding of medical terminology
