Psychologist Clinical (TAC project)
Part-Time, 72 hours per fortnight

In October 2019, a new purpose-built Trauma and Orthopaedics ward, 5 West, opened at The Alfred replacing ward 2 West. This is a 40-bed ward (including 8 single-bed patient rooms), with a dedicated surgical procedure zone, active therapy zones and spaces for families and carers.
The Senior Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical services to trauma patients on ward 5 WEST. Liaison and collaborative work with other members of the multi-disciplinary team and in particular with other psychosocial including Consultation Liaison Psychiatry staff is an essential aspect of the position. The Senior Clinical Psychologist will be expected to participate in Psychology and Trauma professional development and service development activities and will function as a senior member of The Alfred Health Psychology Department. Some weekend work may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation Law (Victoria) Act 2009
Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009
Approved Psychology Board of Australia Supervisor
Master or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
Membership of the APS and the APS College of Clinical Psychology is desirable
