The Alfred Foundation (TAF) creates and nurtures philanthropic partnerships between the community and The Alfred, generating funds which will lead to better health care.
The position of Senior Manager – Systems & Data is a key role in the growth and development of the Alfred Foundation. Specifically the role is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s data systems and data management, providing expert advice and guidance on best practice in the use of data systems and associated tools and applications. This role will have oversight over the management of the organisation’s data including data management, integrity and reporting and be responsible for all associated policies and procedures.
Additionally the role will be required from time-to-time to support fundraising at Alfred Health’s Caulfield and Sandringham campuses through strategic advice and guidance.
The role reports directly to the Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and requires a significant degree of autonomy and self-direction and is responsible for the management of the Database & Project Manager.
A minimum of six years’ experience in a similar role
Exceptional skills in database management and the oversight of data systems
Extensive experience with Salesforce in a fundraising setting
Extensive experience in fundraising, preferably in a public hospital, with exposure across a range of donor groups and fundraising channels
Extensive understanding of the data needs of fundraising organisations and back-end requirements for effective systems Experience in managing staff
Experience in data analysis and the development of reports
Understanding of the legal requirements for charities in the storage and use of donor data
Experience working with third party fundraising platforms and integrating them with data systems
