Alfred Health is the main provider of health services to people in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne and is also a major provider of specialist services to people across Victoria. The Health Service operates three outstanding facilities: The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham.
Applications are invited for the position of Locum General Practitioner – COVID Response. Roles are available in the following areas:
Alfred and Sandringham Emergency Department
COVID-19 Integrated/ Community Care Pathway (CCP)
Mobile Assessment and Treatment Service (MATS)
(Specialist Immunisation Service (SIS)- roles may become available in future)
Applicants must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered with the Medical Practitioners’ Board of Victoria, and hold Fellowship of the either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine or equivalent, or significant progression towards obtaining fellowship. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in General Practice, particularly pertaining to COVID-19, is required as well as meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in General Practice.
