- Scientist Grade 1 or 2 Haematology department of Alfred pathology service
- Fixed term position 03/02/2020 to 18/04/2021
- Full Time +/- Rotation and +/- on-call
- Part time and/or Job share considered
The Department Alfred Pathology Service (APS) provides a comprehensive range of pathology testing, consultation services and collection services to clinicians and patients of Alfred Health. The Service has 5 units (Anatomical Pathology, Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology and Human Molecular Pathology), each headed by a Unit Head. APS has the core laboratory at The Alfred as well as a small local laboratory at Sandringham hospital. We also provide support and services to the Northern Hospital.
We are seeking applicants for this fixed term position in the haematology department of APS.
You are required to have the ability to demonstrate effective communication skills
Experience requirements include previous experience working in a haematology and/or transfusion laboratory.
Flow, morphology or immunology experience highly regarded
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Applied Science.
