Full-time – 80 hours including ADO
Fixed term – maternity leave cover beginning February 2020 - October 2020

The Population Health Lead is responsible for contributing to population health initiatives across Alfred Health and Victoria with a particular focus on reducing the harms for tobacco, healthy living, improving mental health, reducing the harm from alcohol and vaccinations and prevention of blood borne viruses.
The position will provide leadership, planning, implementation and evaluation support for a range of strategies that are aligned to the Primary Care and Population Health Strategy and Action Plan 2018-2023 and the DHHS Road Map to Support Prevention in Health Services. The aim is to create healthy environments and improve the health of people who access our services, people who live in our catchment communities and those who make up our workforce.
Qualification must be eligibile for Accredited Practicing Dietician.
Expertise in leading, implementing and evaluating population health initiatives
Experience working within a health service environment
Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a wide range of people
Strong analytical and writing skills
Easy public transport access
