This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate of computer science or biomedical engineering (or equivalent) ideally with a background in computing and signal processing to join our multidisciplinary team working on the BONANZA traumatic brain injury trial. This position is well suited to a new graduate who is looking to advance their career in clinical research and gain hands on experience in a thriving and dynamic environment.
The BONANZA trial is a randomised controlled trial in patients with severe traumatic brain injury that will determine whether a neuro-intensive care management strategy guided by continuous brain tissue oxygen (PbtO2) monitoring will improve long term neurological outcomes compared to standard care which uses intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring.
We are looking to recruit a motivated and reliable full-time research officer to supervise the data collection process (remotely with occasional site visits) using a pioneering clinical research software solution (ICM+).
A degree of signal processing and signal analysis knowledge.
Excellent computer literacy and computer programming skills.
A range of skills at least in MATLAB, Python or R.
Good organisational and time management skills.
