Alfred Health currently has part time (72 hours per fortnight) permanent position for an Instrument Technician based primarily at The Alfred Hospital, with some shift rotations to Sandringham Hospital. Instrument Technicians work across a 24/7 roster and are responsible for the processing - from decontamination to issue of sterile instruments and equipment used in all areas of the hospital.
Prior experience in CSS is not essential. You will be provided with on the job training and support in your new career.
To succeed in this position you will need to have:
• Good communication skills including fluent English written & oral skills (essential)
• The ability to learn new processes and tasks quickly and efficiently
• The flexibility and availability to work a rotating roster across 24/7
• Demonstrated reliability and flexibility in your previous employment
