Full time - 80 hours plus ADO
Develop your specalist skills in mental health assessment and treatment in this exciting graduate role with Alfred Health's Mental and Addictions Health team. This two year graduate position is aimed at providing a diversity of work experiences and is structured to enable you to engage in a broad range of mental health professional experiences across the continuum of care. Rotations will include Adult inpatient unit, aged mental health, community psychiatry and emergency psychiatry teams.
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
Approved degree in Social Work and evidence of eligibility for membership of Australian Association of Social Workers
Knowledge of current social work practices relevant to mental health contexts and an ability to articulate theoretical basis for practice
Ability to exercise professional judgement and/or seek advice and consultation where appropriate
Ability to develop and foster collaborative working arrangements with relevant services and organisation
