About the role -
The Alfred Centre Short Stay Unit is seeking a motivate and experienced nurse with medical and/or surgical background. If you are wanting to take your career to the next level and enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic team environment, then this could be the job for you. As a part of the Short Stay Unit, you will provide treatment and ongoing management of elective patients both medical and surgical as well as well as patients requiring day admission for radiology/medical procedures.
About the department -
The Alfred Centre Short Stay Unit works closely with various units including Upper Gastroenterology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Ear Nose Throat, Plastics and Breast & Endocrine. We offer excellent clinical support with a customised orientation package, Clinical Support and Development Nurses, Associate Nurse Manager and Nurse Unit Manager.
About you -
Be a motivated individual who enjoys the challenge of working in a team environment
Have a current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
Be available to work on a rotating roster (morning, afternoon & night duty)
