Alfred Health Nursing and Allied Health Education Department is committed to providing excellence in education to all
sections of the Nursing and Allied Health Directorates.  Our overall goal is to act as a resource to the Nursing and Allied Health Directorates through the provision of educational activities that support registered allied health professionals and nurses and enrolled nurses, allied health assistants and undergraduates in related professions to provide outstanding health care and service.  In this dynamic environment, we are constantly exploring new approaches to education that will enhance continuous service improvement and development in these Directorates


To provide high quality and efficient secretarial and clerical support to the Manager of Nursing Education, the Co-ordinators of Education and to perform the receptionist role Nursing and Allied Health   Education.  The position is responsible for the administrative processes with the Undergraduate Program & Graduate Program


  • Demonstrated competency as an administrative assistant in a work environment where judgement, initiative, flexibility, confidentiality and organisational skills are required. 
  • Previous experience in an education or healthcare organisation advantageous.
  • Fast and accurate keyboard skills/data entry are necessary and extensively demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated competency in customer service and/or reception duties.
  • Relevant administration course or working towards the same
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload within time constraints
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team environment
