  • Allied Health Assistant, Social Work, Lung Transplant Service
  • Grade 1, Classification TCI
  • Part Time – 0.5 EFT

Applications are invited for the position of Allied Health Assistant (Social Work) in our Lung Transplant Service, Respiratory Medicine, The Alfred Hospital. 

This position will work with the Senior Social Worker, Lung Transplant Service and is responsible for supporting patient social work requirements as part of the lung transplant multidisciplinary clinical team.

The position is professionally supported through the Lung Transplant Service, Respiratory Medicine.


  • Certificate in Community Services and Health/Certificate lll in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent).
  • Customer service experience as well as high level organisational skills.


  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
