  • Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 or Allied Health Grade 3 or Community Development Worker Level 3
  • Based at our new service site 549 St Kilda RD Melbourne 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the FaPMI (Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness) Coordinator you will coordinate service development within Alfred Psychiatry and across the catchment areas of Stonington, Glen Eira and Port Phillip to build the capacity of services to respond more effectively to those families where a parent has a mental illness. The position is part of an existing FaPMI team and will be a job share role that is responsible for workforce training and development, policy and procedure development, establishing partnerships between sectors and services and community education.

The FaPMI Program is currently based at the Waiora Clinic in South Yarra but will soon relocate to a newly established office on St Kilda Road. The position is part-time and offers flexible working hours.

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for a suitably qualified applicant with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, extensive clinical experience and knowledge of the adult mental health, child and adolescent mental health and associated health and welfare services.

Previous experience in a perinatal mental health role or demonstrated an understanding of parent and infant mental health will be advantageous. A current driver's license is essential.
