The Alfred Health Cancer Program is responsible for the overall delivery of a comprehensive cancer service which includes a number of clinical areas and units including; Medical Oncology, Haematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, State-wide Haemophilia Service, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care and the Victorian Melanoma Service. The clinical areas include inpatient and day case treatment areas. The Alfred Cancer program also has a large focus on clinical trials in all our units and a research component to each unit within the program.
The Innovation and Improvement Manager has a strategic role in delivering improved business processes and innovative service models across the Cancer Program. We are looking for a highly functional individual who is able to lead a program of work to ensure we deliver high quality of care to our patients. Leading change and being innovative are key requirements of the role.
A degree in a relevant healthcare profession, management, or change management field desireable
Experience managing large scale improvement and change projects and overseeing multiple programs of work and evaluation skills.
Exceptional influencing and relationship management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships.
Experience in the health sector and/or a cancer related field desireable
