Permanent Part Time- 75 hours per fortnight
Support Services provides the core services of Non-ward Cleaning, Gardens and Grounds, Distribution (including portering), Security, Ward Support, Food Services and Car Parking.
The position of Porter is a key operational role within the Support Services team.
The Porter will operate as part of the portering services team and take direction from the Porter Controller, ward staff and non clinical support services coordinators/supervisors and perform tasks as allocated. The porter will assist the portering service in providing and maintaining as far as practical a safe, efficient and least disruptive transfer of patients and equipment within the Hospital.
We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility to join the team. Experience in patient transport within the health care industry would be well regarded. Applicants should have the ability to be flexible for hours, night and afternoon shifts, weekend work.
