  • Monday 8am- 4pm and/or 4pm-8pm, Thursday and Friday 8AM-4PM
  • Ongoing (some flexibilty in regard to days worked)
  • Ward 5 East - Respiratory Medicine

Ward 5 East is a 32 bed ward providing speciality Respiratory medical & surgical care. 

The Role

This dynamic position requires a friendly and welcoming personality as the ward clerk is often the first point of contact for visitors, patients and staff. The ward clerk is responsible for the coordination of communication, patient services and clerical functions as directed by the Nurse Manager. The ideal candidate will work closely and as a valued member of the team. 

Preferable Skills

  • Must have excellent computer literacy including Cerner and iPM skills
  • Have excellent people management and communication skills
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with others to achieve outcomes


You will be well supported and mentored by the senior ward clerk,  nursing management and leadership team.
