  • Part time 12-month program - 64 hours per fortnight
  • Intakes - January/February/April or July
  • Located across our 3 campuses The Alfred, Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital

Join our General Nursing program to work with a friendly and supportive team whilst you develop your career as a professional registered nurse.
Gain valuable experience working in general medical or surgical wards, Emergency and Trauma Centre, Aged care & Rehabilitation, Burns & Plastics, Cardiac & Thoracic, Oncology, Operating Suites - to name a few!
In addition to the clinical support provided, a number of structured learning and developmental opportunities are provided throughout your graduate year to support you.
We offer a range of nursing specialties and encourage and support our graduates at all campuses to actively further their professional development. Rotations are available for a portion of graduates.

Prepare for your online application by having the following ready to enter/ upload

  1. Your most recent academic transcript (may be unofficial)
  2. An accurate calculation of your grade point average 100
  3. Clinical Appraisals:
    For Graduate Nurse Program (General) - A copy of two recent Clinical Appraisals. Summaries (approximately three to five pages) are sufficient. These documents do not need to be certified.

    Please provide clinical appraisals from Semester 2, 2018 & Semester 1, 2019.

  4. Certified copies of 100 points of identification 
  5. Please provice the name, phone number and email address of 2 referees on your application
    i. One referee must be related to nursing and the second may be an employer or academic
