  • Senior Clinical Psychologist (P3), Alfred Mental health and Gambling Program Victoria
  • Part time 3 years - fixed term

The Department

Alfred Mental & Addictions Health is the Area Mental Health Service responsible for the operation of services which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.

 The Mental health and Gambling Program Victoria is operationally responsible to Alfred Mental & Addictions Health and the Victorian Gambling Foundation  

The Role

This position will be initially based with our community program site at 435 Malvern Road, South Yarra. Then transitioning to 543 St Kilda Road, Melbourne end of July. This is a state-wide program that will involve some travel visiting services across the state of Victoria. The majority of services provided will be delivered at the St Kilda Road office or within a metropolitan Gamblers Help Service.

The clinical psychologist will be expected to provide clinical assessments, short term interventions, consultation and education. The position is unique and diverse, with the opportunity to be creative and innovative in order to meet the overall objectives and vision of the service.

Requirements:

  • Registration as a clinical psychologist with APHRA or other relevant professional organisation
  • Minimum 6 years post graduate experience
  • Current Driver’s licence
