The Insurance Work and Health (IWH) Group is an applied research unit located in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. The IWH Group is a multi-disciplinary research group with deep expertise in Australian accident compensation and social insurance systems. The group designs and conducts research with real world impact. Combining technical expertise with industry knowledge, the group is uniquely positioned to translate research into solutions and expert advice for industry, government and the wider community, with the ultimate aim of improving individual and community health.
The Project Coordinator provides is a key role supporting two major research projects being led by the Insurance Work and Health Group’s senior research staff. The position works closely with research staff and research partners to deliver projects on time, within budget and to achieve strategic outcomes.
You will be a highly organised professional with experience in a research environment and a passion for improving public health.
Strong knowledge of research processes and practices
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
High level verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as an effective team member
Ability to exercise high levels of independence and initiative
