Caulfield Physiotherapy Department provides an extensive range of inpatient and ambulatory services in the areas of rehabilitation, aged care and transitional care services. The physiotherapy department has a strong commitment to professional development and research with staff able to access an extensive continuing education program on site and the support of Professor of Physiotherapy for research activities.
Caulfield Physiotherapy Department is also a major partner in the Alfred Health Physiotherapy Clinical Schools for both La Trobe and Monash Universities and in this role provides core clinical placements for more than 80 students annually.
The Grade 2 positon is one of three rotational Grade 2 positions within the Neurological stream. The rotations include Neurological, Spinal and ABI caseloads.
The Grade 2 physiotherapist is responsible for the ongoing development and provision of physiotherapy services within the Neurological rehabilitation stream in consultation with Neurological stream leader at the level of a developing expert
The Grade 2 physiotherapist is also responsible for the education of physiotherapy students and the supervision and professional development of Grade 1 staff assigned to the Neurological stream. You will have an important role contributing to the development of individuals, the clinical team and the physiotherapy service through good leadership, teamwork, and communication.
Ability to support and provide guidance to others within a team.
