Alfred Health

Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory, to inpatient and home and community based services.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified HMO's for a full-time appointment to Alfred Health as an Ophthalmology Senior Registrar (5th year position) in 2020.  Candidates will be expected to have successfully completed their RACE exams and be able to operate independently. 

Duties will include:

·         three unsupervised operating lists per week;

·         one medical retina clinic per week (with laser and intravitreal injections);

·         two general ophthalmology clinics per week;

·         one cataract clinic per week;

·         one in two on call;

·         supervision of junior registrar and resident;

·         medical student teaching.
