Based at The Alfred
Clinical Psychologist Grade 3
THE ROLE -
As the Senior Clinical Psychologist you will provide expert psychological assessment and treatment to acute psychiatry inpatients, consultation & training to other clinical staff on the psychological management of clients and supervision & professional leadership to other psychologists working in the Acute Psychiatry program. Active participation in the Alfred Psychology Department and the Acute Psychiatry program activities such as professional development sessions, case presentations & orientation program is expected.
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE -
Registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
Master or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009
Australian Psychology Board Approved Supervisor status- or willingness to undertake training to become an approved supervisor
