2019 Surgical HMO

Alfred Health currently has a vacancy in our surgical stream, commencing immediately. 

This vacancy is suitable for Post Graduate Year 2 or 3 medical officers.    

Alfred Health offer extensive training opportunities in General Surgery and Specialty Surgery.  All surgical trainees have access to a full range of mandatory and recommended surgery rotations as well as Emergency and HDU. We provide a supportive environment where training and learning is encouraged, and consultant surgeons are available to teach and advise.

Our range of surgery rotations are also ideal for prospective Radiology and Critical Care trainees where a surgical background can be beneficial. The types of rotation on offer may be Trauma/Relieving, Neurosurgery/Relieving or ICU/Relieving.

Due to immediate commencement of this positon, you must hold current AHPRA medical registration without restrictions. In addition, you must have working rights without restrictions.
