Alfred Mental & Addiction Health Workforce Development and Education is a dynamic team of interdisciplinary clinicians providing training and education to Nursing and Allied Health staff working in all areas of psychiatry. We work closely with management and staff to support cultural change and personal development using a collaborative


As the Mental & Addiction Health Graduate Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for the clinical support of graduate and transition nurses into the Mental & Addiction Health Graduate Program. The position works in collaboration with the workforce development and education team, graduate program manager, nurse managers and clinical nurses to ensure the progress of staff undertaking their graduate or transition year. 


  • Registered or eligible for registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Holds a postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing that is recognised by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses as a mental health speciality program
  • Recent experience working in the public psychiatric setting as a nurse particularly Inpatient Unit in a similar role
  • Current Victorian drivers licence
