The Department

Australian Breast Device Registry (ABDR), Health Services Unit, Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine.

The Role

Applications are sought for the role of Research Officer (Site Manager) with the Australian Breast Device Registry; 0.8 to 1.0 FTE, starting date negotiable. The successful applicant will oversee ethics and governance amendments for the registry, manage relationships with contributing sites and surgeons Australia-wide and conduct education sessions as required.

Skills 

  1. strong understanding of the ethics and governance model underpinning clinical research.
  2. high-level organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time, and plan work to meet deadlines.
  3. proven ability to engage with a range of stakeholders and deliver project outcomes.
  4. excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records of work, procedures and communication.
  5. well-developed communication skills, including a proven ability to produce a range of clear, succinct documentation and interact with a diversity of colleagues & clients.
  6. current Victorian Drivers license.
