The headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation aims to promote and facilitate improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young Australians aged 12-25. headspace Elsternwick (hsE) has established improved access to services for young people and their families through collaborative partnerships with other local youth service providers. Targeted at the middle and inner southern municipalities of Melbourne, hsE involves a strategic alliance of local government, public and community health and welfare agencies.


headspace Elsternwick is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced medical receptionist to join our small but vibrant team. Set in bustling Elsternwick, you will be joining a small administration team working with our GPs and allied health providers. headspace provides early intervention to young people aged 12-25 and their families and friends who are experiencing difficulties with their social and emotional well-being. 


  • Experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of General Practice software - Zedmed and Microsoft Office preferred but not essential (training can be provided).
  • Knowledge of Medicare Billing preferred but not essential (training can be provided).
  • Appropriate work visa
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
  • Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one
  • Be willing to undergo a Background Check
