The Central Sterilising Service (CSS) is an integral part of Alfred Health, providing a service to The Main Alfred Hospital Operating Suite, The Alfred Centre Procedural Suite, Sandringham Hospital Operating Suite and also to the wards and other departments.
The Quality and Clinical Risk Manager support the CSS Manager to manage clinical risk and implement systems and processes to improve the quality and outcomes in CSS for the delivery of sterilisation for safe patient care. This role is pivotal in relation to quality, risk management, education and accreditation activities and requirements. The Quality & Clinical Risk Manager will also be responsible for operationalising the core values of Nursing at Alfred Health by ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
Degree in healthcare / business management or working towards same.
Recent extensive clinical experience or CSS experience.
Desirable knowledge of ASNZ4187
