Are you an motivated Registered Psychiatric Nurse looking for a new challenge?
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Mental Health Clinician - Registered psychiatric nurse with the Mobile Support and Treatment Service, a part of Alfred Psychiatry.
You will be based at St Kilda Road Clinic and will be a part of the MSTS team who are responsible for providing a 7 day a week service to those clients living in the Inner South catchment area. You will be required to provide client focused, assertive outreach with the emphasis on treatment, rehabilitation and support for people diagnosed with a significant mental illness and associated complex needs for example: housing, substance use, forensic, physical health issues. Treatment and support is provided in a collaborative manner with consumers, carers and other services involved. We aim to assist our clients to achieve their optimal level of independence and functioning in the community.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Tertiary qualification in relevant field
Current, Unrestricted registration with AHPRA
Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant Legislation and their relevance to this client population.
