Casual opportunities exist with an emphasis upon night shifts however morning and afternoon shifts are also available, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. Shifts are allocated across a 7 day roster for both short and long shifts.
Alfred Health is a health service for residents of Melbourne's inner south-eastern suburbs and is also a major provider of specialist services to Victorians across three main facilities: The Alfred Hospital, Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital. We are seeking experienced and qualified individuals to come and join our team.
Preference will be given to applicants with significant experience in an acute setting and a Certificate III in Health Service Assistant is highly desirable, however in house training will be provided.
Patient Attendant positions exist as part of the ward team, under the supervision of the Registered Nursing staff to make a positive difference to patient care. Those successful will have a genuine interest in being part of a ward team and assisting to provide a high standard of quality of care to our patients.
You must be a team player and be able to take direction from the registered nurse that you would be working with and posse's excellent communication skills. The main focus of the Patient attendants is to provide a high level of observation to patients from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
