​​​​​​​The Department

The Department of Neurosciences is a clinical diagnostic department supporting the Neurology unit. The department performs Neurophysiology testing on a range of patients from inpatients including intensive care, emergency department, outpatients, and other hospitals.  

The Role

The position is for a Neurophysiology Scientist with a dual role of sleep scientist. The job will involve all areas of Neurophysiology testing procedures, and sleep studies.  We welcome applications , as we want the right person for the job.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Science in the area of Neurosciences, or equivalent.
  • The ability to satisfy grade 1, 2 merit criteria of Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists EBA 2012-16.
  • Experience in Neurophysiological testing, with a focus on all areas of Electroencephalogram (EEG) testing.
  • Experience with polysomnography recordings is highly desirable
