Nurse Manager - Ward 6 West (Burns, Vascular and Plastics)

Ward 6 West at The Alfred is the home of the State wide service for Burns and also specialises in management of vascular and plastics patients. The team on 6 west provides excellence in care to this cohort of patients in a highly supportive team environment.
The Nurse Manager is a professional and clinical leader in Nursing Services and plays a pivotal role in meeting broader organisational imperatives. The Nurse Manager operationalises the core values of the organisation by ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
The successful appointment to this leadership position will be a highly motivated professional nurse leader and will manage, in conjunction with the medical leads, a high profile clinical service. You will work with an interdisciplinary ward leadership team to improve the patient experience and consistency of practice on the ward.
Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
Degree in healthcare/business management or working towards same.
Recent extensive clinical nursing experience in relevant health service
