VMO Position (0.7) – Commencing on or about 11th February 2019
An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Specialist in Geriatric Medicine to join the dynamic Aged Care Department at Alfred Health. The successful applicant would potentially have responsibilities across the range of inpatient and outpatient services provided by the Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Community Service (RACCS) at Alfred Health including:
Aged Care Consultative Service
Geriatric Evaluation and Management
GEM at Home
Aged Care Assessment service (ACAS)
Mobile Assessment and Treatment Service (MATS)
The Aged Care Department supervises Advanced Trainees in Geriatric Medicine and values a commitment to quality patient orientated care through collaboration and research.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Consultant Specialists in Geriatric Medicine (FRACP in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent) registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for this VMO (0.7 EFT) position, commencing on or about 11th February 2019 (24.5 hours per week + on call)
