  • Full Time, fixed term until January 2021
  • 80 hours per fortnight, plus ADO

The Grade 1 Physiotherapist will be involved in rotations across The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham Hospital sites.  This position is one of 30 full time Grade 1 physiotherapy positions of which 14 positions are located at The Alfred, 12 positions are located at Caulfield and 1 position is located at Sandringham, with 1 position being a rural secondment to Alice Springs.  The position will rotate across all clinical areas serviced by the Alfred Health Physiotherapy Service and will also be involved in the provision of an after hours, weekend and public holiday service. The Grade 1 will work closely with the relevant Grade 2, 3 or 4 physiotherapists to ensure the provision of best practice patient care and the achievement of maximal operational effectiveness. The Grade 1 physiotherapist will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the physiotherapy service by taking on an identified portfolio. The portfolio may be clinical, operational, research or quality improvement in nature.
