Full time - 80 hours per fortnight plus ADO
Based at The Alfred Hospital
Become a part of the Alfred Health Office of Ethics & Research Governance as an Ethic Officer providing assistance the Senior Manager, Office of Ethics & Research Governance in all aspects of secretarial and administrative support.
In this role, you will be required to screen ethics applications submitted for review; process applications for ‘low risk’ review; attend and prepare minutes for monthly committee and other meetings; track ongoing research projects via a database; and perform general secretarial and administrative duties as required. Regular communication with researchers, including senior staff, is also required.
A sound knowledge of word processing and computer applications is essential, as is keen attention to detail and excellent organisational and communication skills. Knowledge of bioethical principles is necessary in order to understand the subject matter
