  • Full time - 80 hours per fortnight plus ADO
  • Grade 1 
  • Based at Caulfield Hospital initially - rotations through other Alfred Health sites
  • Fixed-term - Until July 2020

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new graduate Occupational Therapist Grade 1 (1.0EFT) to join our large and supportive Occupational Therapy Service in a 2 year contract role (until July 2020).  This position will initially based within the subacute inpatient team at Caulfield Hospital, but will join our Alfred Health rotation program across acute, subacute and community rehabilitation settings.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of high quality assessment and therapy services for a designated caseload, as well as participation in clinical supervision and various professional development, quality and research activities. 

Skills

Key attributes of the successful applicant are as follows;

  • AHPRA Registration - current and unrestricted.
  • Previous clinical experience/student placement in an inpatient and/or community rehabilitation setting.
  • Understanding of clinical theory/practice and client-centred care.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound organisation and self-management skills.
  • Ability to work within an inter-disciplinary team environment.
