Information Analyst

The Department

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well-organised Data Analyst to join the Clinical Performance Unit at The Alfred. 

The Clinical Performance Unit is a team within the Finance Department, whose role is to provide integrated information reporting and analytical expertise across Alfred Health, as well as being responsible for data submissions to external parties. 

The Role 

An exciting opportunity is available for those with excellent data analyst skills and a high level of attention to detail. You will be responsible for drawing information from a variety of complex data sources and utilising this to support the health service in a variety of areas including operations, process improvement, quality and safety and patient experience. As part of this responsibility, you will be actively involved in understanding the information supplied and providing the business with insight into its reliability and significance.

Skills

  • Build and maintain performance reports and dashboards for accuracy and consistency.
  • Contribute to data integrity and quality through regular audit and analysis of data.
  • Contribute to the active body of knowledge maintained in the team's documentation system.
  • Champion a consistent approach to reporting on performance and activity across the health service.
  • Respond to ad hoc information demands
