The Department

Alfred Health is excited to be seeking applications for experienced nurses to join our fabulous team on ward 4WA. Ward 4WA is a medical specialty unit specialising in Renal, Endocrine and Rheumatology Nursing. The unit offering specialised Renal Service including peritoneal dialysis, renal transplantation, haemodialysis, working closely with the acute dialysis unit located within the unit, also providing specialised endocrine and rheumatology care.

The Role

We are looking for a team member that enjoys new challenges and is patient focused. As a clinical nurse your practice will lead to excellence in patient care. You understand the importance of establishing a relationship between the patient and yourself in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for your patients.

Skills

  • Unrestricted registration as a Nurse, with AHPRA.
  • Renal or Endocrine Post Graduate Qualifications (desirable)
  • Comply with principles of Patient Centred Care.
  • Evaluates and validates the effectiveness of nursing strategies towards meeting expected patient outcomes.
