THE ROLE

Are you a Registered Nurse who is looking for an opportunity to secure a permanent position within a surgical services ward? You will have the support of an experienced Nurse Manager and leadership team, in an team environment that fosters collaboration, communication and interaction.

As a nurse with Ward 6 West, you will work in a dynamic, acute surgical ward that cares for a variety of patients with complex surgical needs. It is comprised of the Victorian Adult Burn Service, Plastics and Reconstructive surgery, Vascular surgery and Ear Nose & Throat surgery. As a part of our team, you will come across many opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge across a diverse range of surgical specialities - with a special focus on complex wound management and the management of patients with artificial airways.

As a nurse on 6 West, you will be joining a supportive team that has a strong focus on teamwork and prides itself on providing patient centred care. 

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE - 

• Current and Unrestricted Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
