  • Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (MAPrc), Caulfield Hospital and Monash University.
  • Research Nurse – 12-month contract position
  • Part-time – 45.6 hours per fortnight

MAPrc are seeking a Research Assistant to join the Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials team and work on sponsored pharmaceutical clinical trials.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an exciting and topical area of research. The role will involve working with patients with Alzheimer’s disease and development of sound understanding of clinical trial procedures and guidelines.

The Research Nurse will work on a variety of Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials. Primary responsibilities will include enrolling and assessing participants, conducting clinical interviews and data management

You will have:

  •  degree in Nursing from a recognised university
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal skills,
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to documentation guidelines,
  • Excellent data management skills,
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines,
  • Experience with computer software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Prior clinical trials experience is highly desirable.

This role is a 0.6 EFT, 12-month contract position, with potential for contract extension and increase in fraction over time.
