Registered Psychiatric Nurse - Grade 3
Gain valuable experience within the Continuing Care Team (CCT) who utilise a case management model to provide centre based and outreach assessment, treatment, and support services to clients aged 16 -65 years who experience a serious and/or enduring mental illness, and who require specialist clinical services. The CCT staff aim to work in partnership with consumers and carers, enabling them to be involved in their care in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. The staff of the CCT are clinically divided into three multidisciplinary sub-teams, each with its own Consultant Psychiatrist, discipline representation and allocated client caseload.
You will work with an allocated client list, to provide care coordination, treatment and support services, as well providing discipline-specific input to the multidisciplinary team. In addition, you will also have opportunities to contribute to the development of psychiatric nursing not only to Waiora CCT, but also within Alfred psychiatry as a whole.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
Registration with AHPRA
