Research Nurse Grade 3B
Based at the Alfred Centre (Prahran and Caulfield Clinics)

In this role you will provide research support for various investigator-initiated trials being conducted by the Alfred Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Unit. The Research Nurse will coordinate recruitment and retention of participants to various studies, as well as maintain excellent data records, and adhere to trial protocols, in accordance with Good Clinical Research Practice Standards. The Research Nurse will also coordinate, liaising with the relevant Principal Investigator and Subinvestigtors, the submission of Human Research Ethics Committee Ethics (HREC) and Governance Submissions, amendments, and progress reports. The Research Nurse may also be required to support research student projects. There will also a requirement to work at study locations in addition to the Prahran and Caulfied campuses.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Excellent Venepuncture skills
Experience in coordinating clinical research and/or trials within Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Experience or qualifications in Neuroscience Nursing is desirable.
