About the role -
As the FaPMI (families where a Parent has a Mental Illness) Coordinator you will coordinate service development within Alfred Psychiatry and across the catchment areas of Stonnington, Glen Eira and Port Phillip to build the capacity of services to respond more effectively to those families where a parent has a mental illness. The position is part of an existing FaPMI team and will be a job share role that is responsible for workforce training and development, policy and procedure development, establishing partnerships between sectors and services and community education. You will also have a leading role in the coordination of the Group Program portfolio which includes CHAMPS and Space4Us.
The FaPMI program is based at Waiora Clinic in South Yarra with the opportunity to work from other Alfred Psychiatry locations within the catchment area. The position is part-time and rostered in business hours however some flexibility will be required for occasional after-hours group program activity.
About you -
The successful applicant will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and extensive experience and knowledge of the adult mental health, child and adolescent mental health and associated health and welfare services.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver group programs and current driver’s license is essential.
