  • Pharmacist - Clinical Trials (Grade 2)
  • Full time - 80 hours per fortnight plus ADO
  • Fixed-term - 2-year contract
  • Alfred Health incorporating The Alfred, Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital

The Pharmacy services operate across all Alfred Health sites and are well recognised nationally and internationally for high quality, innovative, patient-focused services, education and training programmes as well as significant research output.

Pharmacists are essential members of all clinical teams and have a critical role in patient management. Their understanding of Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Medicine Management ensures Alfred Health patients receive the best pharmacy care possible.. The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist clinicaltrials team. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to the clinical trials service through accurate dispensing, maintaining of records, following standard procedures and assuming responsibility for a key clinical trial portfolio. The Grade 2 Clinical Trials pharmacist will assist the Clinical Trials Senior Pharmacist in the daily operation of investigational drug manufacturing, dispensing and accountability services.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Pharmacist in Australia
  • Postgraduate qualifications in hospital pharmacy, particularly in research practice is highly desirable
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience in manufacturing, aseptic preparation, clinical pharmacy and clinical trial pharmacy is highly desirable
