- Full time - 80 hours per fortnight plus ADO
- Fixed-term (Maternity Leave contract) until April 2019

The Patient Service Centre Manager is responsible for the management of key staff and services involved in the coordination of a patient’s journey to outpatient clinic appointments and surgery, including waiting list management for outpatients and surgery, patient scheduling and the running of the preadmission clinic. The Patient Service Centre Manager is a professional and clinical leader who actively contributes to meeting key organisational imperatives. The Patient Service Centre Manager, working with the Clinical Service Director operationalises and coordinates initiatives relating to patient access to outpatient clinics and preparation and access to elective surgery. This includes streaming of referrals for outpatient clinics, waiting list management for outpatients and surgery, scheduling of patients for appointments and theatre listing. The Patient Service Centre Manager develops staff to deliver excellence in clinical practice, managing clinical risk and implementing systems and processes to improve patient access to services and outcomes of care.

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE
- Current and Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
- Holding, or able to demonstrate working towards, Postgraduate qualifications Healthcare or Business Management or working towards same
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent
