Located at the level 4 of Alfred hospital main ward block ward 4B Dialysis is an acute in-centre haemodialysis unit, this unit is co-located with the renal ward 4WA. The unit provides a limited outpatient service as well as acute dialysis support services for Alfred hospital covering outlier areas including CCU, ICU, and ED. An on-call service is provided out of hours. The unit has 7 chairs and is managed by a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) and Nurse Manager.
We are seeking a passionate, motivated and dedicated registered nurse with dialysis experience to join the Alfred Health team as a Dialysis Nurse in the acute dialysis unit.
The Alfred Renal Service provides specialist renal services including home therapies, renal transplantation, acute and chronic dialysis and pre-dialysis coordination including outreach and vascular coordination of renal patients.
