Alfred Health Allied Health Services comprises a number of allied health disciplines who provide patient centred care across all clinical programs that operate at Alfred Health. Allied health disciplines provide patient centred care that will aim to optimise physical, psychosocial, communication and cognitive functioning. To ensure that the allied health workforce is fit for purpose, there is a robust governance structure that provides oversight of staff & student education, research, workforce innovation and quality & safety.
A fantastic opportunity exists for a Grade 3 Social Worker to join the Social Work Department at Alfred Health, and work with the Family Violence Project Lead in the development and delivery of training and education modules for working with LGBTIQA clients.
You will become part of a dynamic and supportive department and service, which is committed to excellence and innovation. We provide skilled supervision and ongoing professional development.
This role will suit someone who is well organised, has developing project management skills and has experience in the provision of education and training.
The Social Worker will work collaboratively with within the Vulnerable Persons Framework across Alfred Health. Previous hospital experience is highly desirable.
