- Grade 2 Physiotherapist
- Based at The Alfred
This Grade 2 physiotherapist position is one of 3 Grade 2 Respiratory Rotational positions at The Alfred. The three rotations include Lung Transplant (RES 1), Cystic Fibrosis (RES 2) and General Respiratory (RES 3 & RES 4).
The Grade 2 physiotherapist is responsible for the ongoing development and provision of physiotherapy services to the units, and programs assigned to the senior physiotherapist, which is dependent upon the specific rotation, in consultation with senior clinician(s) and stream leader at the level of a developing expert.
The Grade 2 physiotherapist is also responsible for the education of physiotherapy students and the supervision and professional development of Grade 1 staff assigned to their units.
The Grade 2 physiotherapist has an important role contributing to the development of individuals, the clinical team and the physiotherapy service through good leadership, teamwork and communication.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Physiotherapist registered to practice in the state of Victoria.
- Ability to plan and manage caseloads
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent communication skills
